Flight Planning Optimization team has the mission to make flying greener, safer, and more efficient. Working with a startup mentality, the team interacts directly with customers, implements, delivers, and maintains cloud-based Flight Planning Optimization service. The service provides value to a variety of customers: airlines, air traffic control organization, as well as internal customers at Boeing.

In the multidisciplinary DevOps team, they are looking to strengthen the core algorithmic group. You should have strong interest in solving challenging optimization problems, be patient in managing large-scale algorithmic solutions, and be passionate about reducing complexity through code refactoring.

For this position it’s important that you are helpful and having fun coding together with other team members. Sometimes they pair program and require reviews from another team member to get the code approved before integrating our changes.

To enjoy working in this team you need to be selfdirected, you know how to learn by yourself and figure things out on your own.
