As a software engineer, you will be developing and maintaining a sophisticated remote engineering platform that supports R&D engineers in their pursuit of data-driven development. Your responsibilities will include defining requirements based on internal stakeholder needs and coordinating the development of both hardware and software for data collection systems with suppliers. You will manage the portal that aligns various vehicle models with their corresponding data collection configurations, and you will continually work to improve processes—such as automating the installation of collection systems and configuring vehicles in the portal.

Additionally, you will be involved in the verification process when deploying new software, setting up new assignments depending on the data collection needs, and installing systems for new vehicle programs or models. Fault tracing will also be a key aspect of the role, working in collaboration with colleagues from various technical backgrounds to resolve issues.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, software development teams building applications for CoDev data collection and distribution, and external suppliers responsible for hardware and software development.

In order to succeed in this role we believe you may have some initial experience in the automotive industry, particularly with fault tracing and diagnostics, and you are eager to continue developing these skills.
