CAE Engineer
Automotive Talent Program

JOIN OUR TEAM
The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct CAE analysis on vehicle designs to ensure key attributes, such as squeak and rattle, solid feel (tactile stiffness), and door closing sound, are met. You will be involved in the entire design process, from concept through to mass production. Your tasks will include building models, meshing, analyzing different load cases, and providing feedback to designers. This requires close collaboration with a senior engineer to ensure effective communication of design recommendations.
In the early stages of the role, the focus will be on mastering the necessary CAE tools, but as your experience grows, you will shift towards more system-level analysis and actively drive design improvements through direct interaction with designers. You will help set requirements for the vehicle, systems, and components, and assess virtual designs throughout the design loops. This includes structural analysis with road load data, acoustic loading, tactile stiffness, and frequency domain analysis. You will also help define specifications such as stiffness or eigenfrequency requirements.
Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone with a problem-solving mindset who enjoys collaborating with others. You should be able to see the bigger picture without losing attention to detail, and have a proactive, “can-do” attitude—someone who takes initiative rather than waiting for instructions. Strong communication skills are also critical to succeed in this role.
