Applied Physics Engineer/ Modeling Engineer
Automotive Talent Program
JOIN OUR TEAM
We are looking for a motivated and curious modeling enginner, to join our team, working on advanced simulations and control system development. In this role, you will be part of building the platform for our "calculator"—a system that handles complex models and performs dimensional mathematical analyses on energy use in complete vehicles.
About the Role
As part of the team, you will design and develop control systems used to model complex physical systems. This involves modeling components like electric motors by considering factors such as energy, inertia, and weight, and applying physical laws to bring these systems together. You will also contribute to building and enhancing the platform for this "calculator" system, ensuring it is both powerful and user-friendly. This includes developing the graphical interface and ensuring the models are easy to understand and use.
Your First Tasks
You will start by building simpler models in Modelica, as we are transitioning from Matlab and Simulink to this platform. You might also focus on data processing, designing how we input and handle data for simulations. Once the calculations are completed, you will be involved in testing the system to ensure that all components of the calculator function seamlessly.
WHO ARE YOU
If you are passionate about physics, control systems, and cutting-edge technology, and want to be part of building the next-generation platform for our advanced calculator system, this could be the next role for you!
For this position, you need to have an interest in physics and applied physics, especially in large, complex control systems and mechatronic systems (like vehicles). You also need to understand control system development and graphical elements.
You should have knowledge in areas like thermal, electrical, and mechanical systems.
